Pastor Dean and his wife Gigi came to Centenary on July 1st, 2016 to serve as our Pastor. Previously, Pastor Perdue served at Charity UMC in Hebron, The Whaleyville Charge which included St. Martins UMC, New Hope UMC and Whaleyville UMC. He most recently served as pastor at the Bishopville Charge.

Administrative Assistant

Amy Carey

Amy joined Centenary United Methdodist Church as the Administrative Assistant in July 2019. She is a 1999 graduate of Laurel High School and currently resides in Seaford, Delaware. Amy is the 2020 Legacy USA Queen (a title earned because of her ability to successfully fundraise and her passion of helping those in need), the 2021 Ms. City of Seaford and she enjoys reading, music, crafting, playing her with fur-children, church activites, laughing, and spending time with her family and friends.

Choir Director

Linda Premo

Linda became adult choir director at Centenary in September of 1998. Since that time, the choir has performed cantatas for both Christmas and Easter as well as provided music for Sunday and special services throughout the year. The choir is an amzaing team of people who love one another, pray for each other and express their love of Christ through the music they bring. Linda graduated from Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky with a degree in English and she received her Master's from Eastern Kentucky University. She is a registered investment representative with CCF Investments and also works with her husband Jeff Premo in his accounting practive. Her children Joran and Daniel, along with Jeff, often participate musically with the choir and in other aspects of the music life of the church.

Organist, Handbell Director

Karen Tull

Karen Tull, organist at Centenary United Methodist Church, has been playing the organ for over 20 years. As a college student, she studied the organ as an independent study under the director of Taylor Harvey. Karen is a member of the Southern Delaware Guild of Organist where the organization is a resource for ideas, music and workshops. She is also a member of AGEHR (American Guild of English Handbell Ringers) and has attended the Ocean City Handbell Festival to obtain training and music ideas for the bell choir.  


Warren Benson

Warren is a lifelong resident of Laurel. He graduated from Laurel High School in 1967. Married for 40 years to Carol, they have one daughter and 2 grandchildren. Warren retired from Dupont after 42 years. Warren enjoys bowling, riding his motorcycle, playing cards and spending time with his grandchildren.
